In this post (which is largely for insiders only), we evaluate the Analytics at four Champions League clubs - Bayern Munchen, Porto, Manchester City and Glasgow Celtic.
Two of these outfits are blinkered self-harmers who not only fail to look at the correct data and information but, moreover, have not the remotest idea which data they should be evaluating.
And, even if they could see the relevant information, their lack of a realistic holistic is the footballing equivalent of providing an ape with a keyboard.
The other two teams are a different kettle of fish and markedly enhance their operations by laterally thought analyses that add value to the performance of the teams and to the bottom line of the club financially.
Consequently, two of the teams are guaranteed to fail with regard to qualification for the knockout phase while the other two are nailed on.
Entertainingly there are familial links with the self-harmers.
