9 years ago on Wednesday (11/11/06) we established the Football Is Fixed blog.
1585 posts later, we have reached a new threshold for our project.
In one year's time (on the 10th anniversary of the blog), our book is to be published.
The book will have 20 chapters focusing on football corruption, matchfixing, regulatory capture, global sports markets, tax avoidance and evasion in football, fraud, illicit club ownership...
The book will expose structures, systems and templates but not individuals.
The aim is to demonstrate the full nature of a corrupted infrastructure so that it might be structured with greater integrity.
We could write the Fifth Estate Anarchist book targeting individuals but we choose not to as those individuals would only be replaced by others of equal psychopathic countenance and so we made the decision to go for an overview of the issues rather than any specific outings.
This feels like a sell out but there was no other option in getting a suitable publishing deal.
As part of the contractual agreement, I am not able to post articles about football in the year leading up to publication.
But I will be blogging about Cosmology.
All posts have been archived although a few general posts will return online after I get the go-ahead.
From time to time we will post updates here on this blog about contents in the book.
