So the FA reckons that there was no evidence of racism by the "England fans" in the chanting about burning Rio and Anton Ferdinand on a bonfire.
Really?
The battle between Roy Hodgson and Rio Ferdinand and his agents SEM was played out in public prior to the recent internationals against San Marino and Montenegro because Hodgson was keen to appear meritocratic despite showing an extreme bias towards players from four firms of agents (including Base who represent Hodgson himself).
Having historically treated Rio Ferdinand appallingly, Hodgson included Rio in the squad without phonecall, contact or explanation.
Rio reasonably withdrew.
If the "England fans" had restricted their chanting to Rio, one might argue against the racist relevance...
...but including Anton in the equation following the issues with the racism of John Terry makes it an entirely different affair.
But the FA is, like the Premier League, not a fit and proper body.
The FA have employed a man with past racist politics as manager - Hodgson defied sanctions to make money in apartheid South Africa.
The FA bow down to all corruptions in the Premier League allowing Richard Scudamore to have his wicked way and then some.
The FA, in the guise of the FA Gambling Commission Sports Betting Intelligence Unit, totally failed to recognise the insider trading on the Chelsea/Manchester United FA Cup tie on April Fool's Day - one of the most blatant fixed matches in recent times.
And the FA allowed the John Terry affair to have a carefully marketed solution that was nothing to do with race.
Perhaps that is it!
The FA don't see the actions of the "England fans" as racist because they are a racist institution themselves.
